Getting Creative with my Puzzle Calendar

When I left my previous company, an ex-colleague gave me a DIY Puzzle Calendar for me as a good luck cum going away gift. I love it! She knows I’m a big puzzle fan, as she sees me doing a puzzle for days on end at times. I don’t enjoy the problem-solving tasks at work as much though, naturally. That’s a different game altogether. Anyway, this puzzle calendar came as a surprise to me, as I didn’t know there was such an interesting way to display a calendar, akin to the popular Lego.

Thinking I would like to give such lifestyle gadgets away at my going away party, I asked my ex-colleague where she bought that do-it-yourself puzzle calendar from. I found out that she’s a regular shopper at DealtoWorld.com, where I found plenty of other lifestyle gadgets that are both interesting and very useful in our everyday life. So I’ve been shopping on DealtoWorld.com too every since.

My puzzle calendar only weighs 6.46 oz, and measures 4.72 in x 3.62 in x 1.18 in, making it the perfect size for the desk, and I’m intrigued by the concept of it all. It comes in assorted colors, namely black, blue, red, and yellow. The puzzle calendar is plastic, and can be reconstructed to any shape. This is where you just let your creative loose! I’ve been trying to create all sorts of interesting shapes with this puzzle, and I’ve so far come up with a house and a car. Looks like I’m trying to manifest my daytime fantasies of ownership onto a plastic puzzle. Is that pathetic, or am I seeking solace in this? As long as it helps me get through the work day, anything works I guess.

If you look at the pictures, you can see how easy it is to remove a piece and reconnect it somewhere else. It works like lego, so where you attach pieces together determines what shape it will end up, and the resulting piece of art is entirely in the hands of your creativity! I love this puzzle because it certainly brightens up a mundane day at work, since I can use my hands to maneuver the pieces to be whatever I want it to be, and then I can look at my work of art for an hour or a day and then totally disassemble it to become something entirely different! I suppose that’s the pleasure of playing with a puzzle like this. Doing a puzzle keeps your mind focused on the task at hand because you want to solve the puzzle.

I’ll definitely be buying more of puzzle calendars to perk up some of my new colleague’s days at work, while also giving my friends a good break from the daily grind. Moreover, looking at the other lifestyle gadgets at DealtoWorld.com, I find Christmas shopping or even birthday gift shopping no longer a chore. I really should have discovered DealtoWorld.com sooner! I think my life would have been much easier with lifestyle gadgets to aid in everyday life!
